OFF-SITE DINING OPTIONS

We offer a great selection of activities and work together with local providers to offer our corporate market the best services for their event. Our most popular option in our portfolio is our incredibly fun Luncheon and Dinner Cruises. We work together with your business and local conference centres to make the most of your ‘off site’ entertainment. We can tailor the evening to suit every need including flexible menu choices, music, karaoke, decorations and beverage choices or open bar. Trout fishing and skeet shooting can also be included in your package. A fun evening for all to enjoy!

Our launches can cater for small groups, up to 90 guests. For larger groups we can take 2 or more launches out and raft them together once out on the lake. Your guests will dine in superb comfort while enjoying the magnificent backdrop of the mountain peaks and the secluded surrounding bays of stunning lake Taupo.

Chris Jolly Outdoors offers a large range of packages to suit the corporate and conference + incentive market. We also work together with other leading local operators such as HELiPRO and Hukafalls Jet to create thrilling adventure packages.

Brunch Cruise - This fun morning includes a sumptuous brunch menu of delicious fresh fruit platters, a full cooked breakfast, coffee/tea and croissants. You will enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains as you make your way to the Maori rock carvings.  Trout fishing can be included, time permitting. This is the perfect way to spend a leisurely morning for a meeting or presentation in Taupo.

Catch your Kai luncheon cruise - This is a great way to get your delegates together and enjoy the amazing sites of Great Lake Taupo. You can choose a full day or ½ day lake fishing/cruising charter. Our experienced crew will ensure you have a enjoyable and relaxing corporate meeting experience. This fabulous scenic cruise is complimented with a sumptuous buffet lunch, your fresh Trout catch & refreshments.

Our popular Sunset Dinner Cruise - Enjoy a spectacular evening out on Lake Taupo while the sun sets behind the magnificent Mt Ruapehu.This 4 hour private charter departs from the Taupo boat harbour and cruises around the splendid bays while the guests are served with pre-dinner hors d'oeuvres and a delicious buffet dinner.

Kiwi Barbeque & Trout Fishing dinner/luncheon Cruise - An ideal option for satisfying your entire group in a casual, relaxing environment while cruising on Lake Taupo in the early evening. This offers the perfect opportunity to fish for fresh trout which can be BBQ'd to compliment your tasty, kiwi inspired BBQ. Our helpful, knowledgeable staff will prepare and cook all catches, a very unique Taupo experience!

Themed dinner parties & functions - Whether your company is having a product launch, motivational sales conference, or you are celebrating your Christmas party, our private charters create a really fun and memorable occasion.

TEAM BUILDING

Trout fishing competition - A fantastic, fun-for-all 'Trout Fishing Competition'. Split your group into 2 -4 teams and let them show their fishing talent. After the winning tream is announced, lunch is served and the winners get to enjoy their delicious trout served with their meal. If there are other catches there should be enough for the others to enjoy! Our boats are also equipped for Clay Target shooting.

Hike to water - Your group will be dropped off in Kinloch Bay (20 min drive from Taupo) and will hike the scenic Kinloch to Kawakawa Bay walkway. The group will be met by a private launch right on the beautiful sandy beach. As the group cruise back to Taupo they will enjoy a buffet lunch and a scenic trip taking in the Maori rock carvings.

Wheels to water - Taupo is becoming well known for stunning Mountain Biking trails. Try something really different and uniquely Taupo, cycle the adventurous W2K (Whakaipo Bay to Kinloch Bay) track, where you will be met by one of our private launches, then enjoy a scenic cruise back to Taupo.

Paddle to Power - For those looking for a unique outdoors challenge, the paddle to power trip is ideal. Half of your group will kayak with professional guides while the other half cruise by private charter to the Maori rock carvings. Once at the carvings the two groups meet and swap over, see who can stay dry!!

Wine & Tackle - We bring on board our local wine experts to walk you through the world of wine while cruising the glorious lake. Following a delightful tasting, lunch will be served complemented by some world famous trout fishing.

Trout Fishing Tour - Your incentive group will enjoy a private cruise while fishing for Rainbow and Brown trout under professional instruction from our trained and experienced crew.Your lunch and trout catches are then served buffet style with a selection of wines to match.

MEETINGS A-FLOAT

Hosting your meeting on the water is an amazing way to inspire new ideas and meet with no interruptions. All meetings are treated individually and can be tailor made to suit your taste and budget. Our meeting packages are flexible and they include the charter, refreshments, morning/afternoon tea and a tackle box with all the desk top essentials. Lunch or dinner is additional and full day meetings can be arranged. We can also provide any other meeting equipment that you may require and can quote accordingly.

While your delegates are busy with their conference, we make sure that the partners are taken care of by providing fabulous activities to suit all.

Guided Walking or Hiking - This is a great way to take in some amazing scenery in the Taupo region. The exciting history of the volcanic region combined with the stunning scenery, flora & fauna, crystal clear rivers, make it one of the most interesting areas for guided hiking or walking.

Guided Fly Fishing - Our professionally guided Fly Fishing is a fantastic wilderness experience where you will enjoy a half or full day of fishing one of our many beautiful rivers. Another popular option is group Fly Fishing lesson for two hours.

Guided Bike Tour - A new activity on offer with trails for the novice or experienced cyclist. Mountain bike out to Aratiatia dams to watch the spectacular flood gates open, or bike round the stunning bays of Lake Taupo, through native bushland. You can even meet one of our launches in a secluded bay, to fish your way back to the Taupo marina. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch on board and stop and see the Maori Rock carvings - only accessible by water. We supply all biking equipment and transport to and from accommodation.

Private luncheon Cruise - Your guests will enjoy the best of what Taupo has to offer by enjoying this relaxing scenic cruise.Our charter will take you to the Maori rock carvings, where along the way you will try your hand at some trout fishing, clay target, swimming or just sit back and enjoy.
