The Ultimate Lake Taupo Experience
Included in the package: An amazing 1.5 hour scenic flight in a helicopter, flying south over the volcanoes of the World Heritage Tongariro National Park, or north to Mount Tarawera. Our launch awaits in the beautiful Western Bays of Lake Taupo, with a sumptuous luncheon on board, wine and beverages included. Cruise the bays of Lake Taupo and try your hand at trout fishing and clay bird shooting before returning to the Taupo marina.

The mini Lake Taupo Experience
Included in the package: An amazing 30 minute scenic flight in a helicopter around the Lake Taupo area followed by a landing at the Taupo marina where you will board your launch for a private 3 hour charter. Enjoy a sumptuous luncheon on board, wine and beverages included. Cruise the bays of Lake Taupo and try your hand at trout fishing before returning to the Taupo marina.

private charter & guided hike combo
Included in the package: you will be met at your accommodation by our guide and transferred by a 4WD to the start of the spectacular Kinlock to kawakawa track. There you will hike the two hour track through stunning native bush to Kawakawa Bay, in the beautiful Western Bays where your launch will be waiting. Enjoy a delicious luncheon onboard with wine and beverages included (conditions apply). Fish for trout and maybe even try your hand at clay target shooting. View the Maori rock carvings on the cruise back to the Taupo marina.

Scenic Flight and Fishing combination
Your journey begins on the Taupo Floatplane where you will fly over the headwaters of the Waikato River and on to the geothermal Craters of the Moon. Soar over the mighty Huka Falls and get a birds eye view of the Wairakei Power Station.
Fly over the Taupo Bay, past Acacia Bay to Rangitira Point where you can sneak peak at one of Taupos' most exclusive residential areas. View the crystal clear waters of Whakaipo Bay before experiencing an exhilarating water landing in a secluded bay to meet your launch.
Next, enjoy a relaxing 3 hour private fishing charter on a Chris Jolly Outdoors launch. View the picturesque Maori Rock Carvings and perhaps catch a rainbow trout or two. A gourmet lunch and beverage package can be added. Your journey will conclude at the Taupo boat harbour.
